Job Responsibilities : Incumbent will ensure that payments are processed daily as received, and that all funds are applied accordingly to each applicable loan. In this role, you will verify that all Western Union Quick Collect payments are accounted for on a daily basis by comparing to the Quick Collect Activity Report; post previous day un-posted batches; include in the weekly rotation of processing Quick Collect Payments, Loan Modifications, Overnight payments and payment encoding for bank deposit; process all checks received in batches of 50 to 75 checks per batch; process check transmittals received from other departments (ex. Insurance & Tax Refunds); retrieve checks from payment drop boxes as assigned weekly; and handle special projects and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven problem solving skills. Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Access. Ability to work flexible hours and mandatory overtime when required. Previous payment processing and/or Loan Servicing experience a plus. Previous payment processing and/or Loan Servicing experience a plus. Data entry, payment processing, loan servicing or bank teller experience.
