Job Responsibilities : The Generalist team is currently seeking an Undergraduate Associate to assist in delivering coordinator level functions for DIMG in North Hollywood, CA. This person will be responsible for partnering with the HR Generalist team to provide a high-level of client service to the DIsney Online client group. Responsibilities will include: Respond to and manage employee and leader inquiries or refer them to the appropriate team (e. g EAS/ Payroll) for items related to payroll, benefits, flexible work practices, SAP status, Performance Connection, etc. Assist with leave of absence requests, including employee and leader communications Coordinate the exit process, including exit interviews, check distribution, notifications, etc. Coordinates with generalists and business leaders to maintain organizational structures and provides data to the SAP Org COE using the proper templates Assists in reporting status on key HR initiatives such as Performance Connection and compliance training Assists generalists, clients, compensation and legal department on gathering requirements as needed related to Visa processes. Processes new hire paperwork for off-cycle hires Assists generalists in preparation for various activities such as recognition events, off-site meetings, or creation of presentation materials Set-up of ER files pulling relevant HR data (monitor ER Tracker) Assist the Director, Human Resources and HR Generalist team with ad hoc projects as needed.
Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field Must be available to work full-time for 6 months starting March 2010 Previous work experience in similar administrative or coordinator-level capacity Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible Demonstrated problem solving experience in a process-oriented or administrative role Ability to maintain confidentiality and interface with employees at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decision and change course of action quickly Working knowledge of SAP or related system is helpful, but not mandatory Knowledge of federal and state employment laws helpful.
