Job Responsibilities : Prepare plans, specifications and study reports to accomplish goals and objectives of projects. Assert technical decision making authority, in conjunction with project manager. Meet MEP project scope, schedule, budget and expectations as defined by the Project Manager. Develop and maintain positive client relationships. Assist with preparing fee proposals in conjunction with company marketing efforts; assist in securing projects; seek opportunities to obtain additional work. Assist or handle construction administration duties for assigned projects. Perform MEP field work as necessary. Assist in technical reviews and project checks. Supervise technical and administrative staff as necessary to accomplish work. Participate in company training sessions. Strive to meet or exceed utilization goals.
Job Requirements : Minimum requirements and qualifications include a Bachelors Degree or equivalent related work experience as well as five years of experience in a similar role. Candidates with a Professional Engineer license will be given additional consideration. The ideal candidate will have advanced understanding of building systems (HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing) and controls and a strong knowledge of applicable engineering disciplines and Codes and Standards. Additionally, candidates must have a demonstrated excellence in the areas of: time management, organization skills, management of resource procurement and utilization, verbal and written communication, working in a team environment, mentoring, business acumen, decision making, initiative, reliability and professional relationship building.
