Job Responsibilities :  General Dynamics Information Technology is a top-tier IT integrator that provides information technology, systems engineering and professional services to customers in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, federal civil and commercial sectors.  With 16,000 professionals worldwide, the company has the customer knowledge, domain expertise and proven performance to manage large-scale, mission-critical IT programs.  General Dynamics Information Technology has an opening for a qualified Project Manager/Capture Manager with a Data Center Design and Operations background and experience with the process involved in moving a Center.  The candidate should have a network and systems engineering background as well a demonstrated experience in capturing large related opportunities.  The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of Data Center construction requirements to include but not limited to space, cooling, continuity of operations, security, network availability, redundancy and more.  When successful in winning the opportunity, the candidate will continue to serve as the Project Manager. 

Job Requirements :  The candidate will generate a Project Management Plan (PMP) that is used to effectively manage the day to day operations.  The candidate must have strong team building, management, interpersonal and communication skills.  The candidate must be able to manage the performance of the project while maintaining schedule and cost.  Requires BS in Computer Science or related discipline Requires 10-12 years experience.  Moving a Federal Law Enforcement Agency Data Center will involve it's network backbone eqpt, servers , back-up systems and Storage area Network.
