Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Description

 

Position Responsibilities
 
·        Reviewing submittals and submitting to customer
·        Daily record keeping that includes:
o       Daily reports and Quality Control reports
o       Quality Control Logs
o       Scheduling of tests and quality inspections
o       As Built Drawings reviewed and up to date
o       Request for Information
·        Participate in Safety meetings and inspections
·        Frequent communication with key points of contact on the jobsite and with the Contracting Officer Technical Representative
·        Submit Minutes from weekly Quality Control meetings
·        Coordinate with Superintendent on jobsite quality
·        Liaison between Superintendent and customer
·        Update all project Quality Control plans
 
Results Expected
 
·        All Documentation/Record Keeping current and up to date
·        The quality of the work meets the company’s standards of excellence
·        Solid Relationships are established with key points of contact on each jobsite
·        All Quality Control reports are filled out and submitted by 10:00 AM the following day
·        All materials and installations are performed in accordance with plans and specs
·        All materials for the job are verified to be in compliance with submittals
·        All testing logs and procedures are adhered to and followed
·        All Quality Control plans are completed for all jobs
 
Education Requirements
 
High School Diploma, OSHA 30 Certified, Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certified, First Aid and CPR Certified 
 
Experience Requirements
 
Candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience in the commercial/industrial construction industry as a Quality Control System Manager
 
·        Experience with commercial building TI, Federal Contracts (Navy, Army Corps, FAA, Air Force, Veterans Administration, etc.), and design-build
·        Significant experience in construction documentation, including Daily Reports, Quality Control Logs, Submittal Logs, RFIs, Safety Reports, As Built Drawings, and Punch List
·        Ability to read and understand plans and specs
·        Ability to interact with customer
·        A phenomenal record for jobsite safety
 
Necessary Office Requirements
 
The candidate will have the ability to move through the Microsoft Office programs such as, but not limited to:
 
·        MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
·         QCS/RMS system program knowledge preferred
